Game Description

A VR game.
The player will play the role of a graffiti artist, “causing destruction” in the museum, but at the same time needs to avoid being chased by security robots.

Design Challenge

  • The game requires that the space area does not exceed 3.5m * 3.5m.
  • The dimensions are much smaller than the standard for a typical museum.
  • While ensuring there are enough artworks in the room for players to graffiti on,there should be sufficient space for players and security robots to move and engage in combat.

Design Strategy

1. Irregular Space Layout

Divide the overall space into two main activity areas with irregular shapes.


This allows the space to accommodate different types of artworks while providing players with maneuvering space (offering cover).


This layout is more flexible than symmetrical and fixed space designs, fully enabling players to exercise autonomy and creativity.

2. Eliminate Corner Space

Fill the corner spaces to eliminate the sense of “safety and retreat” they provide to players, pushing them towards the central area.

This encourages players to engage in conflict and tension, ensuring the intended gameplay is maintained.

3. Artwork in the form of Drawing Boards.

The drawing board offers a large surface area for painting while not occupying too much physical space. Its shape is similar to a partition wall, and it can also serve to divide the space.
